The Food Co-op

If you guys are looking for a great deal on food, check this out! The food co-op provides an easy way to get affordable, great food. The standard share pictured here cost $23. We added "the Nutty Guys" extra for $12 more. We love (are) nuts.

Included in the standard share for April: 1 4-pound roasting chicken, 2 salisbury steaks, 1 pound pork cubes, 1 pound ground beef, 1 5-pound bad of red potatoes, 5 oranges, 1 head of broccoli, 3 cucumbers, 1 head red lettuce, 7 bananas, 4 tomatoes, 1 pound of strawberries, one pound of rice, and Stone Ground's Artisan Wheat Loaf.

The Nutty Guys Sampler included: 1 pound cashews, 1 pound Jordan Almonds, 1 pound trail mix, and 1 pound sunflower seeds.

You order before the middle of the month, and then pick it up at the end of the month. Look for a drop off point close to your house. Don't forget to bring bags or a box to bring all your food home in.

Another Beautiful Girl!

So here's the story. I had knitted the pictured baby cocoon. I really wanted to see if I had made it the right way. But I needed a baby to test it out on. My friend saves the day! She had a beautiful baby girl, and so graciously allowed me to test the fit of the cocoon. It was fun to go over to her house and snap a few pictures of baby "Mona."

Beautiful Baby

This little sweetheart. Just precious!

She has had a rough start. Frequent visitor at the Childrens Hospital. Hopefully she gets better soon.
Taking beautiful B's pictures was an absolute honor for me. I enjoyed it so much.

One of the great things about hiring a photographer is that the pictures can be taken in your own home. There will be no other kids around, no germy props, etc, if your little one has to be taken extra special care of. I understand this all too well!
